Meet our Team
Dr. Bilal Paracha
I am a strong believer in lifelong learning & regularly continue my training in advanced dental procedures. I have successfully treated thousands of patients suffering from dental anxieties/phobias. I have significant experience in complicated extractions, impacted wisdom teeth, bone grafting, and the replacement of missing teeth using dental implants. I am also trained in PRF/PRP which allows for a faster recovery time after surgery, with better outcomes, and less pain!
I am a member of the Ontario Dental Association, Canadian Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry & the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario.
Outside of dentistry, I love to travel the world & learn about different cultures, food & history. I am also an avid sports enthusiast & a die-hard Toronto Raptors, Blue Jays & Maple Leaf’s fan. I am excited to provide dentistry to the local community and look forward to serving the town of Hanover!
Dr. Vinod Nair
My name is Dr. Vinod Nair and I am the medical anesthesiologist of the team. I am looking forward to helping put you and your child at ease, and to make any dental work nothing more than a mere dream.
I was raised in New Brunswick, and completed my Bachelor of Science degree at the University of New Brunswick, I received my Doctorate of Medicine at Memorial University of Newfoundland. It was there that I decided to become an anesthesiologist, and completed my residency at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario in 2001. After graduation, I worked in New Brunswick at the Saint John Regional Hospital for 7 years.
From there, I moved to Owen Sound in 2008. I served the Grey-Bruce community by working at Grey Bruce Health Services in Owen Sound for over 13 years, and I also provided anesthesia services at the Centre for Personal Enhancement for 12 years and counting. I joined Surgiservices in August 2022 to further my involvement in Out of Hospital dental anesthesia. Owen Sound is where I have laid roots, literally and figuratively, and have three very active children. Outside of my career, I enjoy gardening, basketball and hiking. I look forward to working in Hanover and meeting the medical and dental sedation needs of you and your families.
Dr. Evan Zaretsky
I grew up in Thornhill, Ontario. As for my credentials, I studied sciences at York University, completed my Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2006 at the University of Western Ontario, and revived the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity chapter there. Through spending extra summer sessions at the pediatric clinic, I had a pretty good idea of where I belonged within dentistry. After graduation I moved to Montreal to complete a one year residency at the McGill Montreal Children’s Hospital. By that point I knew I was meant to be a children’s dentist, so I continued to the University of Toronto to study pediatric dentistry. Next I graduated as Pedodontist with a Master’s degree in Pediatric Dentistry in 2011.
Personally, I am an active and outgoing person and an avid cyclist. I also enjoys scuba diving and every type of hockey.
During one of those summers of dental school, I also authored the children’s book Ashley’s Elephant. I am now married to the real-life Ashley, but we do not have an elephant. Instead, we do have three beautiful children aged 9, 7, and 2 who are often as loud as a whole herd of elephants.
Dr. Howard Tse
Dr. Tse attended McMaster University where he received his undergraduate degree and completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at New York University in Manhattan where he was one of six students who were admitted into the university’s Honours in Prosthodontics Program. Although his studies focused on veneers, implants, crowns, and bridges, Dr. Tse now specializes in all areas of general dentistry with specific interests in implant and cosmetic dentistry. He is also the published author of several articles in the Journal of Dental Research. Dr. Tse enjoys playing basketball, traveling, experiencing new foods, and cooking in his spare time.
Dr. Keyvan Tcherassen
Dr. Tcherassen practices all aspects of dentistry, being particularly interested in surgery and implants. He places great importance in oral health and prevention of disease as he believes that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
Dr. Tcherassen believes that everyone deserves access to care, as such he has spent time visiting disadvantaged communities in Jamaica and Guatemala providing dental services to underserved communities.
In his personal time, he enjoys cooking, baking, cycling, swimming, and traveling to his native country of Italy. Sometimes when he’s missing home, he likes to cook up an Italian meal. Dr. Tcherassen is looking forward to providing advanced dental care and serving the community in Hanover.
Dr. Elen Kirilovski
Hi! I’m Dr. Elen Kirilovski but call me Elen. I received my bachelors in Kinesiology and Health Science at York University and continued to dental school at Nova Southeastern University in Florida. I believe in creating a comfortable and judgment free dental home for all of my patients and am very excited to serve the community of Hanover. I practice all facets of dentistry but have a special interest in cosmetic work, and treating your kiddos. Nothing makes me quite as happy as seeing a patient gain confidence in their health – and their smile!
As a mom, I understand how scary it may be to navigate care for your child. Please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have to make this experience as comfortable as we can for you and your little ones.
In my spare time you will find me hanging out with my family and trying all sorts of different foods.
I am looking forward to meeting you and your families!
Registered Dental Hygienist
I was born and grew up in Bruce County and I have been away from the area for over 9 years and it’s time to come home! Thanks to Dr Paracha and his amazing dental team for welcoming me with open arms and allowing me to join their dental practice! My goal as a Dental Hygienist is to provide the utmost care by helping you reach your oral hygiene goals! I know most people are anxious to visit the dental office for dental cleanings but be rest assured our appointments together will be calm and you will have a say in your oral hygiene, I like patients to have a voice about what they want instead of what they need so they feel included in their dental care plan.
During the days I am not at work you can find me spending time with our family dog tucker or out horseback riding.
Joanne Murphy RN
Sedation Nurse Certified Anaesthetic Assistant
My career began at Toronto General Hospital, (UHN) as a pre-operative nurse in cardiothoracic surgery, working in lung and heart transplantation. This experience led me to a lifelong interest in anesthesia and the part it plays in all aspects of surgical and non-surgical procedures.
The Bruce Grey area lured me north to a handsome man, where I continued working in the operating room and emergency departments of a local hospital for almost 25 years. This environment gave me the opportunity to assist doctors in providing safe anesthetic care for people ages 2 to 92.
Receiving an anesthetic or sedation can at times be filled with anxiety and the fear of the unknown. Rest assured at Hanover Dental Sedation our main priority is your or your family members’ safety and comfort. Our goal is for you to be well-informed and relaxed for the experience.
In my leisure time, I enjoy being with my family, traveling, and writing the next great Canadian novel, not necessarily in that order.
It is a privilege to work with this amazing team of doctors, nurses, and assistants. We will care for you or your family member like they were one of our own. I look forward to meeting you or your family if you choose Hanover Dental Sedation.

Dental Assistants Level 2
Hey! My name is Kaylee!
I graduated from Georgian College in 2021. Since graduating I knew that I wanted to work in an oral surgery office. We strive to make sure that you are getting the care you deserve.
It is a pleasure to work alongside an amazing team of assistants, doctors, and nurses. I am looking forward to seeing you in our office for your dental appointment!
